  • 23 years of environmental consulting experience managing hundreds of assessments and remediation projects throughout New England

  • Experience with client engagement/development, management and long term relationship building, client communications and negotiations; development of work plans; scheduling; technical data evaluation and interpretations; technical design/specifications preperation; and technical report review and preparation.

  • Extensive experience with over 750+/- Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and transaction screenings of properties ranging from large industrial sites to extensive tracts of undeveloped woodlands.

  • Remedial action planning design and implementation, data analysis and interpretation, and regulatory negotiations.

  • Multi-media high resolution site characterization sampling/profiling utilizing Membrane Interface and Hydraulic Profiling (MiHPT) and Fuel Florescence Detection (FFD) probes, borehole geophysical logging, ground' penetrating radar and acoustic sounds studies.

  • Municipal/public water main development, planning and preliminary design, bid preparation and specifications, construction management and oversight.

  • Oversight of Method I/II and III Risk ssessments, Design and Coordination of Activity and Use Restriction/Limitations (AUR)/(AUL)

 

Highlights

Extensive commercial and state/municipal experience working under the provisions of the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services Oil Remediation Compliance Bureau (ORCB)/Petroleum Clean-up Fund, the Hazardous Waste Compliance Bureau, the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP)/21J Reimbursement Program and to a lesser extent the recently adopted Vermont Investigation and Remediation of Contaminated Properties Rule (iRule)/Petroleum Clean-Up Fund. Technical experience includes characterization of environmental impacts to soil, bedrock, groundwater, surface water, sediment, and biota; remediation of petroleum impacts and hazardous wastes, borehole geophysical logging, hydrologic pumping tests; geologic mapping, remedial system design, installation and oversight, municipal water main installations, geosynthetic cover system designs, risk assessments. Assisted in start-up/opening of a local office for a regional consulting firm. Former Field Response Lead for PCB emergency spill response contract.
