Job Description

Candidate will have experience managing environmental assessment and remediation projects with state lead involvement. Experience within the New England states, particularly New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts, is ideal. The position also requires expertise in managing brownfields contaminated sites, including leading complex projects, conducting Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), overseeing remediation plans, and providing technical guidance on site redevelopment, while demonstrating strong projec management and client communication skills, often with a focus on compliance with relevant environmental regulations.  Brownfields revolving loan fund (RLF) experience preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering or related field;

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in environmental consulting, with significant focus on site assessment and remediation; 

• Professional licensure (PG, PE) in New Hampshire or other New England state or willingness to obtain it within 6-months of hire;

• Thorough understanding of federal and state brownfield regulations

• Strong knowledge of NHDES Administrative Rules, including but not limited to: Env-Or

• 600 Contaminated Sites Management, Env-Or 700 Groundwater Release Detection

• Permits, Env-Or 800 Brownfields Program, and Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP)

• Strong technical writing and presentation skills
